KTM 640 ADV Carb Issue??? Part II

Got the carb out. Thanks to LaramieLC4's awesome directions. I'm looking forward to taking the carb apart now.

One question... what is this black thingy on the side and should I take it off b4 I clean/inspect the carb?

I hate to break it to you but there is no big lie. There is no system. The universe is indifferent.

throttle position sensor, rotates with the throttle.... probably set w/resistance, tells the ECU stuff to do... the manual will have the values to set it at, loosen the screws and rotate the thing to changr the values.... if you move it, things may not run right.....
