Parsons Branch Road Open or Closed?

I found one site that said Parsons Branch Road coming out of Cade's Cove was closed due to all the rain and another site said t was open.
Anybody been on it lately?

My monkey and I'll be on my Ural.

The Little Tennessee River along Needmore Road was roaring () after all the recent rain.
Thanks

It was closed last week to some downed trees but reopened last Tuesday. Best to call this # 865-436-1200 ext. 631, they usually are pretty good about keeping info current about closures.

The info on these pages is updated pretty frequently (especially temp closings). If you can't reach anyone at the numbers Dan listed, head here:

Thanks for the info on Parsons Branch Road. Will call to check.
We rode over the Cherohala to Tellico Plains for lunch then back stopping at Bald River Falls for a photo then the gravel road to Stratton Meadow.

We loaded up the Ural with out bikes on the back and headed to Cade's Cove from Robbinsville via the Dragon and the Foothills Parkway.

Bikes to be ridden around the loop at Cade's Cove loaded up on the Ural.

Big crowd at the Dragon store where we stopped for gas and water.

We rode our bikes around the loop.

Then loaded up and exited via Parsons Branch Road.

One of the many low water crossings. The road was pretty rough and I actually needed and used two wheel drive for the second time.

Another beautiful riding day in WNC ans ETN.
