Our BBR didn't have a huge turnout due to the weather which was a shame because it cleared up at just the right time and the day was great! I think we had around a dozen riders for the BBR.

I have not heard totals but I believe Saturday morning Lisa (from CFF) announced we had around 350 at that time and I think there were another 75 or so that showed up on Sunday. So not a record year but I want to give a big thanks to all who came out in spite of the weather!

I think he may have gone off course.
I saw him and a big KTM up at the fire tower, and again later, and then they..disappeared. It's not possible that Team Tortuga passed them.... is it?

Yes, met up with him a couple times. He did a nice job with that huge bike considering he was on street tires, he even did a couple of the hero sections. They had a few navigation issues and we (sweepers) actually beat them to lunch.

BBR was around 175 miles this year.

The grand totals for this year was 453 adults and 27 kids. However I suspect some of those were pre-registrations that didn't show. Either way they helped raise $100,000 and put the total this event has raise over the 33 years to over $2 million!
