I know it's proly too soon but....
Whatcha gonna get to replace em?
I know it's a crap deal being violated and such..... BUT there is a tasty silver lining

Sometimes I think.... hmmmmm maybe a steal me sign on my 650 would do the trick... specially after it's pissed me off.

Tommy, thanks for the heads up. I'm gonna check on that, but if he's advertising a stock carb I think it's legit. Mine was aftermarket. Thanks again for keeping an eye out!

DC - they loaded it all up behind the abandoned house next to me. I'm sure the thieves were either from the neighborhood or know someone in the neighborhood. I haven't had any luck asking my neighbors yet though.

Jax - I haven't really thought too much about it. As soon as I start daydreaming about another bike, I think about finding out it's missing. I'm sure that'll go away eventually.

Well, the DR turned up abandoned up in Lanham just NW of where 50 crosses over the beltway. The guy at the impound lot says a lot of bikes are dumped there.

The front end is trashed, ignition gone, grab rails missing (wtf?), airbox full of rain... This isn't going to be easy, but I have a couple ideas for where I want to go with this.

I even had to pay $275 to get my bike back. Fuck thieves.

Iwould be riding/driving around that area to see if I could find the other two bikes. But that is because I am obsessive..

Could be better, but it could also be worse. At least you know the fate of one of your bikes. Personally I'd rather know than not know.

Hooray. I'm definitely glad to get it back, it's just annoying to have to spend all this money and time just to get it on the road because some asshole thought it would be fun to ride it for a bit then wreck it. I really need to look on the brighter side, haha.

That area isn't exactly a place I'd want to ride around all that much. If you want to do it for me, I'll gladly give you a few hundred bucks for the return of my bike(s)

Yeah, I see both sides of it. At least if I don't know, I could pretend that maybe someone found the bike and will love and cherish it forever, haha. It's still definitely better to have it back, I'm just pissed at the circumstances. The bike is trashed and I didn't even get to fall down the side of a mountain to do it
