Seward noob introducing myself and my bikes

I just wanted to finally introduce myself. I live down in Seward and have a couple of adv bikes. I rode street bikes back in college, in California, but then grad school and long winters as I moved north (British Columbia and then Alaska) interrupted my riding. I've lurked on the site a bit, but my job as a marine mammal biologist keeps me out on the water most of the summer. In any case, I'm hoping I can do the D2D this year and meet some of you in person.
Here's my KLR:

Here's me and my tiger on a trip from Seward to Seattle, over the TOW:

I used to have this KLX250S as a playbike, but last year I replaced it with a little KTM105 that is more fun, but not as photogenic:

Hope to see some of you soon.
cheers,
Russ (aka Kosatka)

Something is VERY messed up with your camera... that KLR looks BLUE in the picture. Weird.

What happened to your TKC80"s, I thought you would leave them on for the trip South? Still trying to make Dawson?

Haha. Those were meant for d2d and all them other gravel trip. But I won't be making it t d2d this year.
The Cali trip, I'm using michy roads 3. The tkc would had sucked if I used them.

Hopefully I can plan something next month for another Dalton run. This time all the way up .

I never did post up the Tiger in this thread while I had it. Alright, here it is:

Anyhow, I don't have the Tiger any more. I traded it for a new girlfriend! And a Trophy SE!

Oh, yeah...
