2012 Adv R Fuel Pump Wiring

Well, I did it, f'd up...Pulled the left tank off yesterday, managed to pull the wiring out of the back of the plug on the fuel pump side...I have a red, blue, black wire coming from the fuel pump, but only a brown, red/black on the other side of the connection (going to the computer or relay something) Can someone here help? Been looking for wiring diagrams, can't find anything on this model. Presume it's the same for previous 990s. Need what wire goes to what, thanks, fantastic site.

Mine is a 2006Adv European

The pattern is correct. Three wires on the pump side since on the SuperDuke there is a fuel level sensor on the pump and passes through the third wire. The Adv has a separate fuel level sensor, so one is unused.
Cheers.

Understand, thanks for the info, but also needing the wiring color coding... A red wire, blue wire, black wire are coming from the pump side of the connection and a red/ black wire, brown wire on the bike side of the connection.

Solved.

I'll post here in case anyone needs this reference for their work...from the pump the blue is not used, red goes to the red/ black, black goes to the brown wire. Hope this helps.

Helped me too! Thank you!!!

At least, on my 2008 the bike side has a blue and brown wire. I assume the blue is positive and the brown is negative? Can anyone verify? I'd appreciate it.

I'm still not using the blue wire that comes from the fuel pump.
