Pretty sure we are doing mostly dirt roads.

Sounds like a job for the Katoom 400. Time to investigate dirt roads from Novi to Bloomie Twp.

The strada might be more comfortable. There will be a mix of blacktop, pavement, and scenic dirt roads. No log crossings, swamps, or sand pits this time but you never know

I don't see much dirt on Google earth between here and Bloomie Twp. Hopefully the Strada is up to the task...

No problem. Just pretend that you're on ice

Shot down in flames.

Our plans for GLDS#4 at Hoxeyville ain't happenin. Can't make it to the Ton Up event either. So, we're going to shoot for the 'Devils lake to Hell and back' route on Sunday. Leaving from the Dam Site (reset #6) Late morning sometime.
Life is a moving target.....

Or marbles. The 3yr old PR2s with 10k miles on them were not the best choice for those gravelly tight corners. Well, any corner for that matter.

But that was good fun! Nice meeting you Jeff, Kevin, & Tim. And good seeing the rest of you blokes again. BTW, thanks for not running off an leaving me.

Had a great ride today! 150+ miles of some scenic roads. I think we should plan a trip to the tip of the thumb as Paul suggested for a 2 day camping ride. Bbq, beer, and camping...

Mmm. Beer sounds really good right now. Kevin gets the award for todays ride....Blazing trails through a forest with 4 ft wide panniers on a 990. Great job!

For the record, beer is really good right now! Having a cold Train Hopper IPA at Witch's Hat in South Lyon.

+1 on Kevin. He was courteous enough to hang behind me for a while to pick up the pieces if i bit the dust. Pretty impressive riding considering he was carrying about 40 lbs of fuel on that beast!

At the Gas stop we were about 90 miles from Caseville and the beer store via the route that included a fair amount of zig zaging yet. Need to look for some luggage option for my -630.

Nice ride with everyone.
