Great video bones. Loved the off bike camera shots.

Thanks...I felt like Survivor Man setting up the camera and running back to my bike.

I think my Urban DS Ride might be a little cooler than Nick's...just saying.

Nicks will actually be a ride with others though. Thanks for the invite to the rest of us to the skate park. Nicks will be way more seedy too. Hurray.

All of us FF's have been going down to see my Dad on Father's Day since 2002. He's not getting around as well as he did back then. My Dad has been riding the Smokies since the 70's. He lives close to the Waynesville, NC American Legion where the pic was taken.

Hey, who here that was with us the day we stumbled upon bwringer giving his KLR a bath in the creek on the ROD IV excursion, is now missing something??
I was just out to the garage to do some looking at the Punkin' Chucker II and noticed something around the garage really starting to smell pretty bad. I rarely open the right saddlebag on that bike but am glad/sad that I did. I found these wadded up inside, still wet from that skanky creek water and stinkin' worse than a $2 whore on nickel night at the local pub! Dunno who stuffed 'em in there after we got the bike outta the creek. Can't believe that they've been in there since that day, they are still soaking wet.....and I didn't notice them until now.

So, who's missing their pull straps? Lemme know and I'll try to get 'em back to ya next time we get together.

yep... that was me. i had to make a run to washington this am. it was sunshine and blue skies. then stopped for a beverage in bloomfield then headed for home. the closer i got the nastier it looked. bout 5 miles south of spencer thunder n lightnin... soon came the rains..

i stopped at circle k in spencer to wait it out sippin on a beverage and munchin on peanuts just people watchin. seemed to be a bazillion bikes out, so that was entertaining to watch as 99% were cruisers with riders wearin flip flops/shorts/tank tops with their significant others on back in fetal position tryin to keep warm in that downpour.

i couldn't help but crack up as it was 71 degrees when i rolled outta spencer... what a buncha fuckin tools.

i limped on home in rain most of way but wasn't to bad as i had jacket with me. so what were you riding?

You putz! Well, guess what....they'll most likely be in the exact same spot as they are in the photo, when you pick 'em up tomorrow

Just glad that they weren't your ol' crusty shorts. BTW, you s'pose TPar is still wearing those ol' skivvies of yours around the homestead at night to keep him warm?

i have had pretty good luck with frogg toggs, unfortunately... i tend to lose em. lost my last set at renfro valley.. bummer.

right now i just have my jacket that is waterproof, or supposed to be. which means it is marginally water resistant. the vents n zippers will eventually leak. pockets however are awesome, i could prolly submerge jacket and pockets would stay dry. so wallet/phone/keys n stuff go in there and all is good.
