A few pics from over the past few days. Most of Susi's and my riding was with Craig and Crash; and Ladukebob joined us on a jaunt down to Dug.

Wow, I can't believe it's over. It was a great time, the Wee stayed upright, and the countryside was gorgeous. Shoot, I even attended a wedding and didn't have to put on a suit. :) Thanks to a missed turn on the way out of Pendleton, I also got to explore a little more gravel on the way home. Life is good! Thanks to all who made it happen.

Well Jared and I made it home around 2:30 today. We had a blast and managed to put on 1200 miles in the 7 days we were gone from home.

Thanks to Ladybug-Margaret and Brian for another enjoyable gathering.
Looking forward to next year.

O yea and thanks to my brother for bringing his trailer so I didn't have to be in a tent for 2 days in the rain.

Hope everyone made it back okay. Was a fun Hells Canyon weekend, despite the weather. Could have used a few more days to meet some more of the folks at the event, but the ones I did get to meet were great, and it was wonderful to follow up with some folks I don't get to see often.

Special congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. 1911 Fan .

Someone was way to close to that snake.

Thanks everyone for coming. It was a good turn out even with the rain. The official count or as close to official as we can get was right at 100.

I hope everyone had a good time and made a new friend or two.

Picture thread

I started a thread in Day Trippin' for the pictures from the gathering. Having them in their own thread makes it easier to find them later especially when we want to go looking for those extra special fun photos.

Post your pictures here: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?p=21712415#post21712415 This is also post on the first post on page one in case you want to look for the link later.

The ones already posted here I quoted and took over to the picture thread.

Thanks for posting up pictures already they are always so much fun.

Thanks to Ladybug, Margret, and Brian and everyone else that pitched in to make this a really fun event. Not sure how this one can be topped! We where late getting back from Dug Bar so we missed the wedding and the group photo. Best of luck you newly weds! And thanks for the shot glass topped off to boot

I was so tired yesterday that after coming down the west side of Tollgate into Pendleton I noticed there was an east breeze I jumped onto 84 and headed straight to Hood River. Made it home by 2pm and about the time I got home it started raining so my timing was perfect While I was up at Spout Springs I decided to pull over to take a few photos. And being the nicest person you'd ever want to meet Father of 4 rolls in and stops to make sure everything's ok. We chatted for a few minutes and off he went, thanks for stopping. The ADV community is pretty awesome!

I'm out of town for work this week so my photos will have to wait until next weekend, I think I got a few nice ones

Baby rattler kept us company as we sat and had lunch down at Dug Bar. Of course we didn't notice it was there beside us until Susi says, "Nobody panic, but I'm backing away slowly."

Easy: Have everything exactly the same, minus the rain.

My timing was not perfect. I had to pull over on Hwy 224, because I could no longer see the road at all. When I got home, I hung my gear in the garage, and within a few minutes, a large puddle had formed on the floor.

Good times.

Sherry, thanks again for all your efforts. You have pulled off another brilliant success.

Another great year at Hells Canyon. While the weather was hit and miss I truly enjoyed no dust (and plenty of mud).
Thank you Sherry Brian and Margaret. A great event.
This was my best riding year yet at Hells canyon.
Thank you Jim (sorebutt) and James (mrmagoolin) for tremendous rides. Epic, and not the usual stuff.
Well done and I enjoy the camaraderie.

Also a big thanks to the Horse lady. A great meet up of someone living off the land capped with a token of appreciation. Cheers to her.
She did turn herself in to Homeland security, but they had bigger fish to fry... LOL
I laughed my ass off.

Great riding with Becky, Ken and Ryan (thanks for the mud roost ) and camp time with some of the cronies TJ, John, Mark, among others...
I know who the anonymous decal maker is too.
I enjoy the campfire. Warm & fuzzy.
I was thinking of not attending this year but ended up with excellent memories.
Cheers to everyone.
