Stopped by exxon in my car, just got home

Come over later for a beer...........I'm 2 miles away from the Exxon.
I live in the Construction site on Bellona Avenue three doors away from the Fire Station in Historic Lutherville. Halfway Between York & Seminary.

OK, so I too went to the start location in a four wheeled conveyance, in my case a pickup. Didn't see you Steve, but I was looking for a Red Honda of some sort.

Of course the rain had moved through by 4:15 and the sun even came out.

I sat on the bench and had a few libations -

But then I needed to get going again, so I needed a different kind of liquid:

to have the energy to go about the rest of my afternoon and evening.

See you guys next time!

I'm sorry guys, we will all get back on track soon enough. Maybe a pickup RTE mid-July?

Alternative RTE days

Saw the discarded bottles also....... Hope you didn't drink them all!!
I got stuck in the Baltimore City rain traffic.

BTW, First Monday is the Triumph RAT (Riders Association for Triumphs) meeting at Pete's that I'm trying to get involved with. So another day for the RTE would be good for me.

The RATs have two rides a month, some one day & some two days. Mostly street rides all over MD if anyone is interested. Also, First Sundays have two choices.........one is the BMW breakfast Ride at 8:00 am, all bikes are welcome and the second is a Free-for-all in Ephrata, PA which is a fun 2 hr ride and visit. Need to leave by 8 am. About 200 to 400 bikes attend.

I'm too busy with work & house construction for the long rides and just had my knee replaced, so looking for a few hour rides at a time to get back in shape.

Anyone want to try a second Mondays a few days away ??

The 11th? I'm out of town. The 18th? Quite possibly!

We also need to figure out what (if anything) to do about July

Oops, it looks like I mixed up my Steve's! Earlier, I thought you were the "other" Steve who has gone on two of these with us, now I realize my mistake.

I look forward to meeting you at one of these things. Enjoy the other rides!

First Monday's coming up.

Considering it's a holiday week, what do y'all say about meeting somewhere in Baltimore for a dinner/tire kicking/mutual-moto admiration evening?

Got an Idea!

How 'bout Gino's?

  • Plenty of seating, inside and out.
  • Food served in plastic baskets lined with wax paper, everyone gets their own trough. It's like they know us.
  • Big menu, unless you run on Energon or Dilithium, you will find something agreeable.
  • Plenty of parking for bikes and cages.
  • Not that far from where we usually meet, could skip the Exxon experience. Or ride around Loch Raven Reservoir and then meet up.
I was going to use my cage pass if we come to a consensus.
