For those that don't know it is illegal to ride a motorized scooter there without a helmet. The helmets do not have a standard, so most are fashion statements and are a very thin, plyable piece of plastic. Also, there is no passenger limit per scooter and Children are not required to wear any sort of helmet...It is not uncommon to see a family of 4 scooting by at 35 mph on 1 bike. yeah, im quite familiar with the riding conditions in Vietnam.....this was directly in front of our hotel room....
oh and at 6'3" 230 I dont exactly FIT on the back of one. Hell it took them awhile to find a helmet that even fit me
