it's getting ridden. these pics were taken the other day after i started it for the first time, and just before finishing up the last couple loose ends. felt like showing it off. it isn't intended as a garage queen, and after the next couple shakedown rides and jetting chops, it's gonna get ridden until the tires blister.
Sorry about that , I just saw the whiskers on the tires and perfect paint on the headpipes. Nice bike though. Who's chambers?

no worries. believe me, i am itching to get the tires all nice and messy. the pipes better stay looking good for a while, since they are ceramic coated...

speaking of, those are moto-carrera millenium pipes. bike started life as a 75 350; i got it in the "before" condition above. motor has a 400 gearbox in it but was otherwise pretty haggard. new clutch, new main bearings, new crank seals, new seals throughout the rest. scott clough balanced the crank, lightly ported the cylinders, and machined the squish bands. pro-x pistons, bore is .50 over. chinoy electronic ignition, kept the stock 28mm carbs and reeds and rejetted. got the timing dialed the other day, and the bottom of the throttle jetting. tomorrow will be the day of many plug chops as we try to hone in on final needle and main jetting.

for now, even with the jetting fat and the timing initially way too retarded, it still hit like a sledgehammer around 6500. pulled hard wheelies in 1st and 2nd, got light in 3rd. not bad for being way out of tune. looking forward to tomorrow!

That's what a 17 year old's dreams were made of.

34 years have passed. I still have that dream.

Here's my RD350. I love this bike! Too bad I have to sell it. Check it out in the Old's Cool Flea Market.

If you like the sound of a two stroke...

Broadford Bike Bonanza 2014. Easter.

Absolutely no racing was conducted. These are 'demonstration laps'. Them's the rulz.

1st one is Sunday morning. The 250 is running very well, above about 3 grand anyway. With some bench racing thrown in for the grin factor.

This is Sunday arvo. In with the 'Road Bike - Expert' group. I actually felt better as I wasn't as worried about running into the back of someone under brakes. Still, there are a few race bikes in there, just for the fun of it.

Same location as the videos posted earlier but things are different.

Except my 350 had a little hearty again and needed the weekend off.

Hi Glynn, I am finally getting a bigger garage and I fully intend to have an RZ in there one of these days...I remember when I had a KH 400 and a good friend bought an 81....it cleaned my clock. Your machine is on another planet. We will have to touch base sometime... another old friend works n them too of I recall, Blaze would love this for sure. regards, Grant

The pipes on the hybrid took about five days from start to finish excluding the plating. From designing to fit then converting the sections to DXF files, cutting them out and rolling then welding. These pipes where designed to run with a Mick Addy tune, so should be a proven 68/70 WRhp and around 35 torque.

The pipes on the dyno mule are for a +4mm stroke crank and will make 77WRhp @11k with 37 torque, I also have a road pipe for the +4mm stroke crank that makes 68/70 WRhp and just over 40 torque @9500k.

Here's mine, first owner restored it and did some things, second owner did some more things, and with only 100 (amazing) miles on it, I'm already adding more thingamajigs to it:

Here's my SCR ported '78. Gets with the program. It has a nice wide powerband - I can 'four stroke it'.
It crackles.

Love my little RD and all the amazing 2-smokers in this thread... I don't think this is the appropriate thread to make this statement, but I'd love to sell my RD to one of you guys who can give it more lovin' than I can!

I have tons of pictures, but I won't bore you!
