Met a KLX250 as he was coming down Chimney Mt.
We've saw bear on our last three rides in a row!

Its wired for everything...blinkers, horn, etc...will have to buy the subframe with a break light, blinkers I guess, horn, speedo, then have it inspected. Think that will be the best route to try since the WV. title says offroad only on it. Gonna be awhile though cause I pretty much blew my wad on the bike and having the suspension set up. So are you gonna load up the 650 for highland park on the 30th with us?

I would love to go, even if I didn't take the XR into the woods, there is some great DS riding out that way. To run those 4 or 5 diamonds I would prefer one of the rental bikes. I need to get out that way sometime soon, anyway. I appreciate the offer, I will keep in touch

Wow! That's quite an honor. You're more likely to have a childhood friend become an NBA all star than to reach that level of command. Not the best analogy (not quite the same level of honor in the two professions). But your friend is someone that's reached the pinnacle of an incredibly demanding and competitive field. You gotta admire that! I'm sure you're all real proud of him.

^ I am actually in the process of doing a Sportster 1200 DS conversion. Waiting on a kit to be made.

I was told I need to come say hi.

That is me. I live in Atlanta.

I currently ride:

2011 Kawasaki KLE650 aka Versys.

Great bike, but it's a little buzzy and it has too tall of a riding position (Even at 6'2").

Anyways I typically ride alone, but I need to do more group rides!

Also I am a State Farm Agent in the Sandy Springs area if anyone needs le insurance.
