Xr650l

Have just placed an order for one and hope it is here before mid July, plan to put about 14000k on it in one hit and will report back in September.

Just wish there was a 39 or 41 tooth version to stretch my fuel range and skip the 15/45 harmonic.

My gearbox already has 83000k on it and looked fine when i was in there at 78000k to install a kickstarter but its what you don't see that gets ya, the bike has run a 15/40 combo since new.

This sort of breaks the rule in my sig line

Kenno, please report back here after you've used it.

I'm thinking about picking one up for my XR650L as well.

do the 520 and 525 rubbers have the same surface area for the rubber or are the rubbers wider in the 525

Just hope the next shipment turns up in time and I can report back, will take photos of it along the way as well. I will have a spare 14 & 40 tooth on board but I think it'll be ok.
I have ordered a 16 tooth XRR sprocket for the front but will need to modify the case saver, this should gear me up a bit with the 45 and lift the chain off the slider more.

That's normal for this model as the urethane is no longer bonded to the metal.

Cheers

Ryan

Good to hear you feel it more. Although that latest model I sent you was a lot harder urethane than the sprocket in the picture you sent. By the way I am still waiting to receive the old sprocket for inspection when you get time.

Thank

Ryan

Wish i had it on this big lap i am doing but i had to order a steely for my ride home so nothing to report from 5600k into the ride. Looks like they turned up in stock just after i left Cairns. Next time.
