[QUOTE=Hamilton.Cooper;20972175]Wow that's big![/

The top of the fairing is about 10" above the handlebars or from the inverted V to the top. It's more so the perspective foto LOL!

I have found to have it any smaller is a waste. It's the same size on the top close to a dakar fairing. I posted dimensions on the first post.

I saw this fender in passing, some time ago and now I'm finalizing my Zuma 125 offroad conversion... found this thread in my searches and am so pleased to know you're in South Denver.

I'll be posting up a build thread (I mostly peruse Zumaforums regarding this).

Maybe when I'm ready to get that custom HID set-up going, front-fender [reduction] (bug-eye deleting/smoothing), etc, we can put our heads together for coming up with the bracket. I would love to do business with you. If all goes well, I'll be installing a chassis brace this weekend and actually hitting up some dirt this Sunday for the first time (with the Zuma).

If you don't have any allergies to scooters, this could work out.

If not, well, I'll understand.

Hi K-Chil - I have no allergy to scooters LOL! I spent some of the most fun times of my life cruising the Islands of Greece on a scooter and actually ramped a scooter a couple times at a BMX track...

I like it when people do something themselves to solve a challenge and use their creative side, even if it comes out to be something you don't want, you tried and had some fun during the journey. I don't live to do the same thing every day.

You are welcome to stop by and moc something up, even just to try it out for size (which I think might be an issue). I can also give you some tips on designing and making something if you care to do that.

Just pm me and we can arrange a time.

B

Thank you so much.

Yeah, the Zuma has grown on me over the past year or so that I've had it. When I bought it, it was just a commuter and allowed my GF to use my car during the summer (the car-pool was a mess with our schedules). I guessed I would get 70mpg and did the math; the bike would pay for itself in 2 years (less now, with real-world 90mpg). Then I just grew to love it, no longer feeling an immediate need for another "real" bike. Naturally, I've dumped a lot of money into it now (not part of the original plan), not for repairs, but for upgrades and while it still gets 90 mpg, it might take another year or two before it "pays for itself."

Well, you might surprised; when you take off the speedo-cluster on the Zuma 125, there's a nice protruding plate coming off the stem, ready to mount just about anything you can dream up, or so I hope.

I'm not even using the speedo at the moment, because it's incompatible with my aftermarket spoked wheel (or requires cannibalizing the old wheel, which I'm not in a hurry to do); mainly just relying on phone GPS to track mileage. It's currently mounted, but it's only function is the indicator lights and fuel gauge (which I don't really need). Planning to eventually get an accurate digital gauge, but I'm waiting on some enterprising Taiwanese people to make something compatible with the aftermarket wheel of mine. But I digress.

Thanks again for the offer. I will definitely be contacting you in the near future. Possible very soon!

^Guess it's a love or hate thing. The latest one with the new trip-angles would be a bit much for me (at full-size, untrimmed), but I can't get over how awesome Dread Pendragon's one looks (maybe the two-tone graphics help):

I started a new real job not too long ago and I am spread too thin. I had fun working on this but time is a premium for me now to spend with my family.

I understand that production has halted indefinitely. I was wondering however if you might still have a fairing laying around you would like to sell :)

if not thanks for the inspiration.
