I suspect that this bike was sold by a shop in Raleigh that was loosely associated with TapeWorks. I saw one like that on the floor years ago. It was unclear how they proposed to get it registered. Want one bad. You're right about small bikes being fun. It doesn't hurt that I'm the right size for one.
This one was imported into California in 1995 by the person I bought it from. He & his wife moved to NC in 2007.

Well, that ain't the one I saw, then.

All the parts are like small jewelry. The spark plugs are the size of pencils. So neat.

I have a VFR750 but would love to add an NC30 or NC35 to the collection. I have an FZR400 and love it but it's certainly no V4. I have right of first refusal on an RC30 but don't have the little brother lined up yet.

Luggage Solutions

STORM SHADOW, I am envious of your nice rack(s)

Luggage solutions for 3rd Gen seem few and FAR between.

I run soft bags but not happily.

Great looking machine!!

Understood.

I spent some time yesterday doing a mockup and some CAD sketches for a good (factory looking) solution for my 93.

Made some good progress. Should have something by next month. Then to pick up some GIVI sides and maybe a top boxish option as well.

BTW the way SUBBED to the White Bike thread

Hepco and Becker (German but there are US distributors) still make hard bags and mounts for 3rd gen VFR's (1990-1993). I have a brand new set in the box bieng shipped to me right now that I'll probably never use since I got a Ninja 1000 w/ bags 3 weeks ago. Sent you a PM.

I got a set of these last year for my 4th gen. I already had the bags from my other bikes, so all I needed to buy were the racks.

They look great, IMHO. The side bags pictured are the "Junior" bags. I have since replaced "Journey" top case with the better looking and functionally superior "Junior" 55L top case. I also have a Junior 40L top case for when I don't need to carry much.

Storm Shadow-
Great looking comeback on the bike. Sorry about the license suspension. Happy riding.

i was tinkering in the garage again, installing some led strip lights inside my topbox, and 2 little led hid bulbs running lights, ironically i think the strip lights are brighter, but only half of the ones i brought actually work.

Hot damn! There have been some great bikes posted up here lately.
Ive been away for a few weeks and you lot provide so much Viffer pr0n its unreal

Regarding my bike paint scheme... I had some spare time whilst I was away and I did a mock up via PS.
Red NISSIN and red brake lines?
Yep, looks bad. So, I'll stick with the current paint scheme it is (yellow bike, yellow rims) and get the calipers painted gloss black and either get silver or black braided lines. Keep it clean and classy. As per

Yeah, well we hijacked somebody's grudge match in the process, so let's just hope we don't get banished to JM's.
