finally

Great to see Rossi back in good form after all this time. Whatever they found in testing paid off and maybe this can continue. Lorenzo will be back in full force for the next race and probably back on top but today was great

What happened all weekend with DP? QP was weird too. He didn't go back out after his crash, which is not like him.

I like that the race made nearly everyone happy except Puig.

Nothing jumped out at me, it looked like the grip and stability weren't there compared to the Yamahas. The ess at the end of the back straight was painful to watch, he was braking so early for it. Marquez just seemed willing to take more chances, which paid off today; other days, not so much.

It'll be interesting to see what Pedrosa does next round at a track that's got his name on it.

Cal certainly brings some levity to the paddock. That was probably the happiest looking podium I've seen in motogp.

As Cal and Dovi were riding out of pit lane for the warm up Cal was kicking at Dovi's bike. Pretty funny.

Hayden said ~seeing VR win the race today knowing that he was faster than VR at this track last year was demoralizing. I think Ducati hit a new low this weekend.

Credit where it is due. He has been on a pretty steady trajectory and is clearly upping his game. If, as some posit, his bike is a big step down, he may be the second coming.

At the top, it is as much about self-belief as having the magic brake caliper.

Great race from start to finish, something to like for everyone! (unless you're a Dani fan) At this rate, Crutchlow is well on his way to being the next Dovizioso!

And, unless I'm mistaken, zero crashes! Which is pretty awesome, considering how practice went.

I would love to see Nicky try some banzai marque-change before heading out of The Show in the next few years. I was watching the "classic" races on motogp.com and watching Nicky utterly dominate at Laguna in 2005 is both exciting and depressing.

Some will rightly say, "Well, duh. What took you so long to figure that out!", but I have finally figured out the strategy employed by Speed TV here in the States. If it is a Live coverage, and there is an impending, critical pass, then cut to break. Rossi's pass on Pedrosa. Break. MM's pass on Pedrosa. Break.

I did not get to see either pass live. Rather, I could only see short replays of the pass itself without getting to see the lead-up to the passes. Worse, I had to endure Kramer telling me what great and critical passes they were.

P.S. I did enjoy seeing Rossi win.
P.S.S. I think MM brake checked Crutchlow.

I would settle for Nicky going to Tech3 for 2 years....

On the "Rossi retiring at the end of this year" front: he's only 2 points down on Crutchlow in the standings.

I guess we should also say we're back to 4 aliens, though I still don't figure Rossi being a contender for the WC anymore.
