I can really relate to this one. The boys in our Planning offices seem to enjoy changing things up on a regular basis - trying to justify their positions. The reality is that seldom do their efforts result in something that improves the work process and usually what they spew out makes no sense and impacts our efforts negatively. Three cheers for your pal - I like his attitude.

You mean the only one to leave and arrive on time ?

He sums it up quite well.

Most of our QA dept is actually pretty competent and work well with us, but there's one guy they messed up and put him in a position where he has the authority to write and include mandatory steps or a checklist which as far as he's concerned might as well be God's will.

Mig 17f taxiing out on Saturday. They had the local HOG group bring the flags out for the airshow's opening ceremony. They drove up that taxiway, then turned around at the far end, many of them dangling a leg or dragging a foot, because they only had 50 feet to turn around!

As long as they happen in the proper order, there are few things that go together better than airplanes and beer! My family had a silver replica of my RV made for me. I turned it into a tap handle too--I'll have to find a pic.

LOL, yeah they have a kick ass little flying tiger tug!

To be honest, I didnt fully understand what i was getting into when I signed on. As time is going on, I am more and more realizing just what this year is going to be like with the mods that have been made to PM. I honestly feel like i got the Willy Wonka golden ticket at times!

I can actually contribute to this thread! I just got back from a fishing trip to Canada, way north on the Manitoba/Saskatchewan border, which means...float planes! I may not have the year right, but our transport to the fishing camp was this 1953 deHaviland Otter Turbo which this company has 2 in their fleet...the pilot let my 8 yr old be on the stick for the return flight and bank a nice turn. I think it was one of his highlights, for sure!

The boys got to do a lot of this...

The company also has a cool old Beaver. I remember flying in this one years ago on one of my earlier trips here...
