Ty250

Hi guys! New to the forum.
Just bought a KLX250S so looking forward to that. But I also have a running TY175 and a TY250 in a state of disrepair. I was given the TY250 when I bought the TY175. Still not got back into trials with the 175 but enjoying the old memories!
I am wondering if anyone has converted a TY250 into a dual sport machine?
I think that a new frame at least would be necessary (or modified) because of the riding position.
Anyone have any comments as to whether this would be a worthwhile project?
Thanks.
Howard.

Worthwhile should be converting a standard TY into a Whitehawk or Rayer or Majesty trials bike if you ask me, (my personal opinion).

The TY is famous for being the best trials bike for club level riders in the 70's you can modify it to better contemporary trials bike but to an endure there should a DT be much easier to convert in a serious endure especially the gearing from a DT suits much better.
