Yes, more please. Not only do we want to hear about the rest of the 1000, but inquiring minds want to know about the future of the car and how you are going to tackle the strut issue.

Ok, I,lied about having an update done. But here's a video from David from the end of the last special on Day 1, coming out to Chapala. I am beat and look it. Laura is too, but looks gorgeous and relaxed - a natural.

I did forget to mention that as the Dude started getting worried about us late in the day on Day 1, he tried to reach us on the Mag 7 radio channel. Luckily I was scanning all racing freqs in my car. Mag 7 was kind enough to relay radio traffic for us for a few minutes. Of course, the woman on the radio did say that normally they don't provide the service for non Mag 7 users. I responded that I had paid for Mag 7 full service for the last two years and only used about 2 gallons worth of gas, so that should count for something! Then we all had a laugh at the idiot that thought racing a stock Subaru was a good idea

I know, I know......where the hell are the updates already!!!

Well, we've been busy....busy making dust in Hell's Canyon!

1000 mile trip. One flat tire. Haven't even changed the oil since before running the Mexican 1000.

We ran Dirty Dorothy pretty hard and she never complained!!

Spacer Question

Did your wheel spacers have any effect on steering feel, kickback over bumps, or braking stability?

NO negative effects whatsoever. Huge positive effect in handling.

HIghly recommended and tough as nails. Again, we doubled them up on one wheel to aid in tire clearance after a strut failure and raced that way for 300 more miles.

D00d, not getting any younger here and at the rate you're going... well I may not be able to remember reading this.

ps: heading north on the 13th with Rog for a 2 week escape. Don't have a route down yet, depends on the temps at the time. You're on my Locals To Harass list. Give you a heads up a few days out so you can find a convenient excuse to be outa town.

I have a camping spot waiting for you. But you're still buying the first beer!
