MM10 Bullets installed on my 2012 V-Strom DL650. Although the wiring harness is good, I didn't like the switch that is included. I prefer a true switch mounted to the handlebars instead of a stick on pushbutton. So I ordered a switch from Eastern Beaver and wired the whole thing to the auxiliary fuse box under the seat.

I wanted them primarily for daytime visibility and they are perfect. Lots of "very obvious but not annoying" comments from other riders. Haven't used them enough at night to comment on how well they really throw light.

We are working on a way to eliminate the need for a second switch. Meaning one switch that will alternate between on/off and strobe. Trying to keep it simple and retrofit it. Oh and keep the price down.

Thanks guys for the input and interest

Brian - put me down for this when available. Loving the lights... Switched bikes with my friend one day and was AMAZED how visible the Tiger was with these on. I have also been asked where they are on the bike when someone is up close because they blend in so well.

FYI to you and the Tiger 800 owners using your Tiger mount kit. I recently switched to the taller triumph touring screen which interferes with the mount. I basically has to flip the lights down (so they "hang") from the long screw into the fairing mount. Not a big deal but it left the holes on the light case on top. Wasn't crazy about the look and didn't want water settling in there so I used some black RTV silicone to fill them. Maybe you can design a better way for those with the tall touring screen?

Still one of, if not the best looking Strom's I've seen.

Thanks for the pics and review. Coincidentally, we will soon be offering a switch very similar to what you've used as a option.

Will be interested in this upgraded switch as well as the flasher option. Do keep me posted once available. I find it very difficult to tell when my MM10's are on during the day.

Big Dog is confused ??

Hi Mr. Toad,

I got on your website to order the MM10's--------but me and all my friends agree the info on the same order page was very conflicting-------at the top it said it was "In Stock"---------and further down there was a place to pre-order with a given date of when it would be available--------this confuses me---but I get confused easily

I left a voice mail for you to call me several days ago and haven't heard from anyone.

Can you help me out as to what I should do ???

BigDog

Sorry for the confusion.

The MM10 light kits are in stock, however we are on the road until July 16th.

Meaning: the light kits wont ship until the 16/17th.

Note from site:

*** WE WILL BE ON THE ROAD JULY 1 - 16***
***ORDERS PLACED DURING THIS TIME FOR THE MM10K LIGHT KIT WILL SHIP AFTER JULY 16***

All other items (jackets, hand guards, etc) are drop shipped and go out as usual w/in 24hrs.

The phone is in the shop and Bob is manning that alone. I know he took the 4th and 5th off (long weekend).

Again, sorry for any confusion.

Hope that helps.
-Brian

Hint - there is a long planned price increase (very slight) coming July 8th. Our webmaster is supposed to pull the trigger late Sunday evening.

ADV10 Discount

We have had to make a slight price increase to the MM10 Light Kit changing the price from $126 to $135.

As a way of saying our continued thanks to the ADV community, we are upping our discount from 5% to 10% for the light kit.

Using the Coupon Code ADV10 (case sensitive) will adjust the final price to $121.50 (USD).

Thanks,
-Brian

crap, now I find out about the coupon code, lol. oh well.

Just got my MM10 lights today - customs flagged the package and held it for 5 days, decided I need to pay another $40 for duty, so my MM10 lights cost me $196 at my door.

I'll post up some pics once I get them installed
