Have a 606 out front now, having gone down on a 606 on asphault I dont trust it for shit. To be honest looking forward to a non-nob for the adventure machine. I'll dismount the one I got now which has plenty of life in it for a run or two, but for what I do woth the 950 on a day to day basis a k60 will suit my purposes well I think.

Anyone going up to Bald Mt. to watch the Fireworks on the 6th? I won't be, I'll be out of town but it sounds like a great idea!

I had thought about doing that last year but didnt get the chance. Going to miss that opportunity again this year since I have my son this weekend. Oh well there's always next year Probably going to be off the bike for a bit, got a 7 day ride planned at the end of this month that I'm prepping for

I've been before, but not on two wheels. I'd recommend it at least once, cool to watch fireworks going off below you. Plus, if other valley cities are having their shows on the same night (unlikely this year), you can watch them sparkle in the distance. And the picture opportunities are great, lemme see if I can dig some up:

First, the sun goes down

Then fireworks

Then time to mess around taking pictures while waiting for traffic to clear

We were camped not far from the trail, so we let traffic clear and had a leisurely drive back to camp. It does get crowded at the top, so if you want a good spot, head up early. Next time we do it, we'll be taking a better camera.
