I rode Kephart Run to the end and back today, but couldn't remember the tag location. I just remembered something about butterflies... saw lots of those and other bugs and flies, but didn't see the alien. Guess I'll have to go back and check each of the puddles... there are a lot of those, too.

I think I may try for a grab after work. I don't have much time however. so could you tell me how far up the trail it is? Also is the trail entrance right off of 33? I have been in this area but do not know the trail. Want to know I can at least make a go at it if I take off.

Kephart is only 2.5 miles long, so it can't be too far along. It's close by Dry Run, directly off 33, and the only trail that goes North from 33 in the area.

Rode right by it yesterday; had no idea the tag was in there.
Should check the thread more often.

Well, Mike, like Skippii said earlier in catherders, after coming out of Dunkle Hollow and while taking a breather at Skidmore, we considered the relative merits of dropping down the mountain and poking around looking for it with our percieved chances of finding it, and ultimately opted to head to Brandywine for refreshments and trails on that side. Somehow it seemed more inviting to ride than to poke around behind every fallen tree along the trail. Heck, we don't even know what direction that photo was taken from. Things look completely different from opposite directions. I'd say it merits a ride-through sometime when we're already going by there...

So, almost three months have passed. I'll ask, can we get another clue please?

I don't know if I got bruced or if the alien is just gone, but I spent over an hour searching trees on Kephart.
