Yep. I have an old hospital exam room stool that I put wheels on. I can scoot from the Handy bench to the tool box and back. Pretty slick.

Freshened up the forks on my Husky

Some of these little guys may have gotten messed with too (I have a slight idea what I'm doing here, I figure I can just change it back if it doesn't work out for a lot less than sending them out)

Also got a new front tire which I'll mount tomorrow or Friday

Today in my shop.

Unloaded a 13' piece of I-beam to start the process of building a trolly hoist 2 ton roll around gantry crane. Will post pictures as I get started.

Washed the KTM 990 and the XR650L and serviced the sweetieS. Then my wife interrupted my thought process by informing me it was time for me to fire up the grill and cook dinner for the grandkids who come every summer and stay for two months. Last year they wore the tires out on the Bombardier 650 traxter max.

It's been three days straight of XR650l engine work. Yesterday afternoon I tore down my $200.00 XRL engine with the stripped counter shaft and a supposed transmission problem. I found the clutch push rod all bent to shit. How it happened I have no clue. Today I washed the cases and took them to my work and glass bead blasted them. Came home and washed the cases again. Out to the yard where I set them in the sun as I prepared to paint them with Dupli-color Ceramic Engine paint. They came out real nice.

Took a little time out to run out and bought a CRF450r carb from a Craigslist posting. FCR-MX that turned out to be a 41mm. Carb and throttle for $100.00. SCORE. It's soaking in Pine-Sol right now.

Assembled my XRL's trans for the CW 750cc mill that I will be working on in the next few days. NX650 second and fifth gears, brand new countershaft just cause.

Tomorrow will be day 4 of XRL engines. Putting the top end on my son's XRL as he blew the head gasket. New ring set for the 102.4 Wiseco.

Yikes! I have a fire extinguisher in my garage. If I burn mine up, the neighbors go with it (1 of 5 condos).

Finally got the nerve up to replace the rear tire on the Harley. I figured it would be a real pain in the ass with the stiff sidewall and wide profile.
Breaking the bead was a bitch but all else went really easily. Tire practically fell off and on.
Shot tire lube in my eye when the bead set (repeat after me...always wear glasses... bang head on bench... always wear glasses) and it's still burning 5 hours later.

The wider tire of my '10 required a different reassembly process than my 08. Good thing I didn't read the manual since I knew all the steps and instead struggled for 1.5 hours before breaking down and reading the manual. Ahh take the brake caliper apart... yeah, there ya go! Damn caliper wouldn't fit with the overly wide wheel. It took running out of expletives and sweating like a pig to actually read the directions

Next time it will take an hour.

Didn't wash the wheels or the bike. It's gotten a half assed wash once in its life and I don't intend to start now.
