I have been following this thread since I lived in Michigan. Now that I am here, I still follow, for more inspiration to get out and see more places.
Bravo!

I think the reservoir is low partly because they emptied it late last year for some repairs. Or am I thinking of a different res up there?

Went above logan, blacksmith fork area last week...

Wandered up the gravel for a while

Got pretty dry/dusty...still hot in teh 90's

Got a little rutted/rough--Turned around, and the GS died
All electrics failed, no start, no go

Fiddled around for a while- no joy 30 miles from cell phone range..
Thankfully some local ranchers (Honeyville) drove me down the canyon at dark-thirty...

Got home with the help of family and borrowing a friend's trailer

New battery and all's well- must have broken a cell/plate in the battery

Glad to hear you're good and it was a relatively cheap fix

When I went up near Logan a couple of years ago, we went to the American West Heritage Center. Ever been there?

Those mountains between Brigham City and Logan sure are scenic

Sorry for the delay between posts-

Mr Salty sends his regards from a northwest gravel road

Cool and windy, north front blowing in

Just over the hill

I now realize these all look fairly similar, but such is the terrain out there

Only passed 2 trucks in 2 hrs...some big trucks fly out there creating the washboard gravel hell in sopts

Near the "Salt Wells"

Some odd fall changes- these grasses changed to red color like leaves

Hey Signal -- Nice to see a post. Hope all has been well with you, perhaps just busy with work and family . . . and your pedal bike. Or have you been sneaking out on moto rides without posting??? Thanks for the pics.

Honest thanks for playing along-

I'll answer "all of the above", but mostly more pedal bike this summer.
