I'm in.

Anyone coming through here is welcome to join me on the dirty backcountry route to just north of Laramie, and then over Buff Pass into Steamboat-- road conditions permitting.

Any interest in riding the Heart of the West route after the KTM Rally

I will be at the KTM rally in Steamboat Springs with another riding buddy from Atlanta. We are thinking of riding all or a large portion of Tony Hugel's route after the rally. The ride report look terrific and September is the recommended month to travel this route. If anyone is interested please post a reply or PM.
We are on 950/990's and would be looking at covering roughly 200-250 miles a day with a mix of camping and motels. We would like to camp in the most scenic spots and stay at motels often enough to clean up and resupply. We are not thinking of making this a race but rather enjoying the unbelieveable views. Let us know.

If I can get my shite together I will ride with you. I can likely get us a place to stash our crap at and stay in inclimate weather (but it wont be...thats a great time of the year). I'll keep in touch as things get closer.

I have to pull out of the trip due to a few other popping up unexpectedly(Chicago and another to Cabo). I had reserved spot 113 and was wondering if anyone was interested in taking it over? It is right across from CJ's spots.

Hi gtdsrider,

Great talking to you over the weekend. As discussed, Anthony and I would love to meet up with you guys when you swing through Aspen / Crested Butte. Hopefully we can join you on the Heart of the West Tour. We are committed to doing this trip sometime this year. Let me know if you need a place to stay over here or stash your bike(s).

Cheers,

Dave
