Calling 48th ISDT Vets

Hello Vets of the 48th ISDT,

I am the editor of Trail Rider Magazine and will be putting together the program booklet for the ISDT reunion ride next month in North Adam, Massachusetts. As this will be the 40th anniversary of the 48th ISDT, I would like to make it the central theme of the program booklet.

Bob Hicks did an outstanding job commemorating the 48th ISDT back in 2003 at the 6th ISDT Reunion Ride - which was 30th anniversary of the 73 ISDT and held in the Berkshires. Hopefully we can put together something equally impressive and distinct for you. Unfortunately this all happened before my time so I could use some help with content and gathering photographs from the events of Dalton in '73.

One thing I would like to do is print some of your personal stories from the 48th ISDT. I understand that Jeff Debell has interviewed some of the '73 ISDT vets in the past and is working on organizing those notes. However, if there is more you would like to add, or have not had a chance to share your story, I want to hear it - let's get these memories in print. I could also use photographs from the 48th ISDT for inclusion in the program booklet. Please don't be shy about sending me pictures or sharing your memories!

I can be contacted at: kevin@trailrider.com

Also, I could use help in contacting Marcia MacDonald. Thanks!

Yup, Jim Hollerich. He's already a source. Thank you. We're trying to find a hidden gem story that maybe hasn't never been told.
