When I bought the Vesys tank I had no intention of keeping the color, but I like it with the black frame. I'm going to add the Versys side tank panels & trim to fit. Thanks JD for the water bottle idea, looks much better than the plastic wart did.

It started right up! I still have a few details to clean up like side panels for the tank, but the racks worked out well with the quick pins I made instead of the seat straps. Anyone have a good suggestion for a tank bag?

Looking good.

For a tank bag I would recommend the Giant loop diablo. Have been using it this summer and I am very satisfied with it.
Fits perfect on the versys tank.

What a transformation, that red frame was an aesthetic anchor.

you might experiment with just blacking out the area on the tank normally covered in plastic unless you already have the solution worked out there.

Your teeter-totter bike stand is great, I always tried to think of uses for that hole through the center of the bike. maybe a road flare would fit in there

Yeah, my wife's Harley friends may let us park near them now

I bought the Versys side panels I will need to trim to fit, the top fairing brackets, I will eventually have to cut off, fill & paint, or one other thought was to trim them off & have a really bored CNC owner make some aluminum "badges" with Chevelle SS style fins or Ninja

You guys made this easy, I just took what JDrocks, Sanjo, KTMKLX, Saliah you & others had done & applied what I think I wanted on my version of the rat..

Yes, Those fat plastic hips were dependant on the original inner fender, I replace that with one I made from ABS plastic for more upward wheel travel.

That looks pretty darn nice, if you want to give a few more HP, just paint the tank red!
