Sorry, I'm late to the party: You can get R-dubb's file to work by eliminating the .xml file extension (leaving the .gpx) and then importing it into Basecamp. Double click on the individual tracks (left side menu) and they will display.

Or just go to my file on GPSXChange.com and it has all the routes ( 3, 4, & 5) and should open with no problem.

This could be it but may not be latest.

If anyone has any newer Active Logs from newer GPS units, I will substitute them.

OBDR Route #3 GPX File

I'm in desperate need of the OBDR Route #3 GPX file ready to load into my GPS. I'm riding this route starting tomorrow morning and am currently on the move so I don't have access to a computer to edit routes and create my own route #3 gpx file. I bought the physical maps from OOHV of this route for $35 but after receiving these realize I need GPS to supplement. I applied to the gpsexchange.com website four days ago but still have not been given access so I can't download Countdown's ready to load gpx file of route #3. If someone could post or email the file to me I will be forever indebted to them.

Just got back from ridding the center section, about 385mi. of route 5 of the OBDR. Ill have to say, that was an awesome four days, used Jerrys tracks (thanks Jerry) and they were spot on, except for about a half mile south of the Strawberry Mts, but the road intersected the route again, easily seen on the GPS. We went from North to South, which was the best for us, but everyone agreed, that north to south through Crane Crossing on the Malheur River is the way to go. I used my Garmin Montana 600 with the powered rugged mount, and it worked extremely well. When I get some more time Ill post the GPX file. We are already planning to do more sections of the OBDR, and Im really looking forward to it.

Just completed Route 5 North to South using the track from this thread...the gpx file is still very valid as it made for a fantastic 4 day ride.
