The road is also still blocked up top by what I refer to as the Pinyon Glacier.

This looked like a really fun ride!!

Thank you Jason! I've really enjoyed reading your ride reports and hopefully we can get out sometime.

Ride this upcoming Tuesday or Wednesday?

Hey guys haven't been out much, but want to take the bike out and maybe hit up a check point or two on the IAMC checklist. If anyone is free to ride, I could def use a riding buddy. Let me know if you want to go out! I'm itching to ride!

BTW, I'll be on a new bike, so forgive me if I do something stupid on it.

I just got home last night from Colorado with a new to me bike and could go on Tue. or Wed.
Don't know what sites you were thinking of hitting, I was thinking Bonneville, 3 Island, Shoofly, Utter Disaster. and Swan Falls would be a good loop.
If you are more interested in hitting the mountains we could do Joseph Lake, Seafoam, Redfish, Pole Cr., Triumph, and Sheep Bridge.

I'm good with either. I'm on a stock XR650R that I just got, so I don't know the range. I'm guessing as long as I can fill up somewhere every 60-80 miles I'll be fine

The Stanley loop might be a bit long for the XR, I will take the KLX250S and we can do the 3 Island loop. Which day do you want to go?

Sorry, my work keeps me from riding during the week unless I ask in advance 4 weeks ahead. Have a good time, ride safe.

I rode with SCExpat yesterday

and his friend. We rode to Hawley lookout, then through Horseshoe bend and Pearl road. Had a great time, felt lucky to have cooler weather!

That works. Wednesday looks like it will be a little cooler and clear skies, so if that works for you I'm game. I can go Tuesday as well if that works better. either or.
