Very nice shots Christopher.

I headed down to Mt St. Helens at the Johnston Ridge area and hiked out the Boundary trail about 4+ miles solo last night. I had planned to get a bit further but I realized that I would miss my chance at getting the Milky way directly over the mountain so I set up and fired away until around 2:30 AM. This is a 12 shot panorama that I merged. It is effectively about 170 degree view!! The far left is a touch of Northern Lights as well. The green haze in the middle is called airglow. You can see Mt Rainier and Spirit lake in the distance with of course Helens on the right with the Milky way leaping out of the crater.... It was a bit spooky at times knowing that there wasn't another soul for 10's of miles!

Any chance you can share the specifics of the camera settings? Getting good star shots in one that I have always struggled with, getting and idea of the combo of focal length / ISO / shutter speed would be great.
