Prolly true, never ran anything that gets close to that, esp. following this crowd.

Quick math tells me even the 250 only got 69.375 mpg.

Out.

Can anyone suggest a good route? Doesn't have to be dirt road of course.
Someone should also mention this...while in the Conway area this is always a great stop. Worth a wander down the aisles. Great peeps there, too.

If you took a left at the Chatham end of Hurricane Mountain you could pop in there and catch your breath.

A few pics from this weekend, 500 miles in 24 hours.

We left work and arrived in Shirley with time to cook up some gut lumber.

Things got a wee bit fuzzy around midnight.....but all the worlds troubles are solved.

With most of the group heading to Loring the GS and Hog headed to Jackman for some breakie.

Kellys landing

If all goes as planned I can get the Fatboy a lil dirty by the end of the day.

Brassua's looking fine

The Dead.

And then off to Kingfield

Success, nothing like the sound of rocks bouncing off all that chrome...

Next stop Rangely

And home by 4:30....

Well, IIRC I've only ridden with EC, several years back in Vermont after a Thanksgiving snowfall, and that crowd didn't move that fast (I was on a ZX12R at the time).

Now I'm riding in a part of the world where most of the time I'd be prepared to take on the big bikes with a sub-250 machine...

I should put up some videos of a typical daily riding here some time...
