I was thinking it was the clamp style too.guess I got to go out to garage and look.
Still may be able to replace existing with clamp one.

matter of fact the clamp on one I used in the picture was a replacement part for KTM.

You found a clamp type for KTM? Wondering how it stays on the beveled spline. Another option I've seen is getting a steel shift lever (apparently arc makes one) and welding it to the steel shaft.

Anyone find a local store that carries rescue bits?
