Saw your FJR in there Frank.

Bob just ordered my stuff for the 650vStrom.
Gonna get immulators and springs to get rid of that terrible front end dive when
braking and a bigger rear spring to haul my fat butt.

Asked If he had heard from Rick and his big DL.
He says he's in line to get mods too.

Sweet! It's about the same distance from my house to several dealerships, but I'll take work to an independent shop any time I can.

Yeah, I told Bob that I just about had an accident in my pants when I was riding my DL off road the first time standing on the pegs. I looked down and saw those tiny forks that looked like they were from a Binelli mini bike from the 70's and thought, 1000 cc, heavy bike on those crutches, wow........don't hilt any bumps!

In all the years I've been around Vic's Strom (both when Dave C used to own it and since Vic bought it), I've never ridden it to experience that Ohlins suspension off road. Been invited to, just haven't gotten around to it.

Street Legal Gas Gas EC300

Hey guys, I know its been a long time since I posted, I had to have a bone graft done on my wrist from a gnarly high side on the 690 a good while back so I haven't been able to ride. BUT I wanted to let you know I'm selling my 2010 EC300, Gnarly pipe, Q-Stealth Silencer, Rekluse clutch, Cycra Pro Bends, etc. This bike is ready to rock, Hatch has been riding it for me so it stays fresh, extremely low hours. I bought this bike earlier this year BRAND NEW, it was still sitting on the showroom floor and I estimate it has less than 20hrs on it now. I don't want to see it go but I just moved into a new house and thanks to Obama Care my hours have been cut so I need to put the money elsewhere. Asking 6k for this street legal woods weapon. PM me if you are interested. http://pensacola.craigslist.org/mcy/3941332655.html that's the CL add if you are interested, sexy with those red forks.

Met guy w/ '99 DR350. Came home w/ an empty trailer. The search continues........

As I was examining the DR, a fellow came up and joined our conversation. Turned out to be inmate SingleTrack Jeff. Nice to meet you sir!
Great meeting you sorry you went home empty handed. But sometimes that is better than a bad deal.

Great meeting you too.

Yeah, the condition/price matrix just didn't quite work out. Once I saw it in person, his bottom dollar and my top dollar were several dollars apart. I also cringed when he told me he always washed it w/ a pressure washer.

Oh well. He was a nice guy and likes his bike, so no harm done!

I was Hoping to watch online and not drive to Niceville :(
I read that thread the other day, that's what inspired me to ride, I stare at it from the condo, had no idea you could ride it or it was that big.
You guys are very lucky!!

Hey gang. Rusty Jug is coming this way and we were gonna hook up for a BW ride on Monday 5 Aug early. (the plan as of NOW).

RJ - you can hit Jackson Guard on the way back since we have to go through Niceville anyway to get to Blackwater.
Then we can ride Eglin the rest of the week.

Anyone who can get away during the week you are welcome. Typical ride over wide improved roads, never getting over 30MPH, max fork travel = 1".

You dont quit riding when you get old, you get old when you quit riding.
I don't always ride street bikes, but when I do I prefer VStroms

We can finish the week with a great local place to eat to tell the tall stories that week! I need a good sending home meal with the locals! I'll do the same if you make it to Missouri! The Show-Me state!
Plan to eat a few of these that week!

I'm from cattle country I need to indulge in seafood country!
I had those back in March when I was down, I can't get enough of quality ones!

I guess we must have more than 1" of travel once in a while considering the way my tag has taken on the shape of my rear tire!!!
