Thanks Dr. Z,
I will check out those areas. Oceola and Ocala are pretty close to my town of Middleburg. I used to ride my Honda XL 650 Enduro in the Deserts of SoCal when My Husky 390 was down. It was a real workout, but I could still do about 70 in a sand wash, and ride the mountain trails to the snow. That was 20+ years and a knee and ankle replacement ago. But I gotta ride. Thanks again. I am going to try to get my skills (on my KTM 690) back to where I can join you guys on a ride.

Come join us - not sure what you rode at the Beaver - but our Labor day ride is "the best of the best".
IHF - ok going to sound like a dick, but I am - if it's a proper dirt bike ass kicker I'm down! I really enjoy the challenges of the mountains up there. Twisty can tell ya about the beaver and Point of No Return last run. Looks like Z has room for me, my mini bike, and my cooler . DR i'll get in touch later this week when I get home (my phone typing game is as weak as my eyes - forking little screen). But if it's 100 miles of pavement and JV trails I'll pass and visit in the spring. Is there a High octane splinter group? Or KLR friendly?

I'm thinking if the ride is led by IHF, it'll be an ass kicker sooner or later.

No sweat CMF - it's all good in the hood.
Hell if I was gunna drive that far to ride with a bunch of Queens I would wonder too.
I'm pretty sure you'll have a good time.
Yea, we'll have some gravel and pave connectors but only b/c we have too.
We will def be riding all the 450 and under off road we can find.
No offense - but I would not allow a KLR on a ride like this. Ballers only.
Stuff like the point of no return is just a play-area when you look at how much ground we will cover.
If you don't have a good ride - I will wash your bike and then Dr.Z will give Africa a long overdue colonic

I'm gunna call Twisty and see what ya'll rode at the Beaver. Would you call that a good ride?

Cool - I don't mind more riders as long as they all can ride. You know what I mean by "ride".

Maybe the invite should be sent to those Peeps in the Pasco riding thread...possibly they could show us a thing or 2?
So am I understanding this correctly...no Milk Crates on the bikes?

We could get a few Wankers together & make it a Road trip!

+1 on the Pasco d00ds. They sound like "A" riders... I'm sure I could pick up some riding tips from them.

Johno, I got some Rok straps and a milk crate here at the house. It should be a quick install on your 530.

Steve-oh said the LBJ was on Labor Day weekend??? I guess it depends on whether you want to ride one day (at LBJ) or 2 days (at Tellico).
