Something for FREE

A mate at work is throwing out two solid timber bookshelves.
They have no antique merit; more like school library shelves.
They measure 1500 high by 900 wide, and have adjustable shelves.
If anyone could use these to neaten up their man cave, give me a call on 0411 601 854 and I'll send you a phone pic.

Cheers
Tim

At a guess I think the shelves are a bit narrow, about 8 or 9 inches, so the necks would be sticking out and liable to being knocked. They certainly are solid enough though. Would be better suited for storing tools, jars of nuts and bolts and the like.

A mate and I built two large racks in cupbaords he had at home using 90 x 90 gal mesh, installed in pairs vertically about 9 inches apart so the necks face down slightly. Held the mesh sheets in place with pairs of hardwood battens screwed to the inside of the melamine cupboards. 960 bottles for about $200.
