Parson's Branch question.

I've missed Parson's Branch because it was closed or I was in the area on Saturday and didn't want to get such a late start with Cades being closed for bicycles early.

I'm heading up on my GSA and will be 2 up with my wife this weekend. There has been recent rain so, should I wait untill solo trip. I don't want to get into anything that will freak my wife out. She's a bit uncomfortable on rough terrain.

There's nothing rough about Parson's Branch. You could drive a Prius down it.

Great! I just saw the sign last time when it was closed with all the disclaimers "4-wheel drive only" and read too much into it.

Thanks

We ran it Sunday morning......a couple of loose but short uphills.....nothing bad.

Over all in good shape......first time I've ridden it since they put concrete down on all the creek crossings......took the fun out of it.

Enjoy! It's still a beautiful ride!

Those concrete crossings can be quite "fun" late summer when they turn green with algae.
