I would assume you could commit pretty much any crime you wanted in that town. Get arrested, have your attorney show that video to the prosecutor as an example of the police force that arrested you, walk....

Sounds like a fun project! How about dropping in a Synchro drivetrain while you're at it

I would love that so much, it's been my experience though that with a good set of tires, a VW will go damn near anywhere as it is. However, I'm actually working on getting a wrecked audi TT quattro...I have visions of an AWD old beetle street rod in my head right now....

For all the fellow large-footed riders out there, Alpinestars Tech3 boots at Iron Pony are $80 on closeout. They have a stack of them in sizes 14 & 15. A great deal as they are usually around $220.

You know what they say about big feet.

Are these the molded/integrated sole? Or the traditional style all-terrain sole?

Molded/integrated. Seems pretty durable, I'll find out soon enough.

I used to wear a 15, but have lost some weight and can now wear most 14's comfortably. With relatively thin smartwool socks, these were on the roomy side and felt closer to a 14.5. Hopefully Scott can chime in, but these definitely seem to run big in my opinion.

I'm looking for an executive summary on changing sprockets (and chain) on the WRR. I'd to go up on both. I'm lazy when it comes to chain tightening and don't want to chew through the swing arm with the stock front. In the rear, I'm looking to give up a little top end speed for low end power.

What combinations work well?
Where's a good place to buy parts?
Are any specific brands known for quality or junk?
Anything else I should know before doing this?

Thanks,
Joe

PS - I already have a SpeedoDRD, so I'm prepared for speedo / odo differences.

I wear a large volume, (wide & high instep) 13 and these fit me fine with a little extra room in the toebox....It looks to me like the 14s are pretty spot on.

There is lots of room for big claves, but not HUGE calves.

We have lots of 14 & 15 in black & white.

$80 is a smoking deal.

They are the part of what is left of the Yamaha A* buyout we did last year. MSRP in the Tech 3 (which is still a current boot) is $220.

I personally do not like the buckles, but I would probably live with them if they were in my size.

My 8 year old Sidi Crossfires are awesome & still in great condition, but they are currently right at $500 to replace..................YIKES!
