that's what I get for not checking the forum this weekend. I hope you had fun. That might have been wet and muddy enough to knock the dust of my bike.

Not a bad ride today fellas. We only lost 1 wallet, and had to beat a shifter and handguard back into place. The catfish sammie was well worth the trouble!

Good ride yesterday and nice to meet you Matt and Zack. Thanks Chris for not making me feel like a big ole puss for bailing on that muddy, rutted, tree limb strewn trail with a 600 lb streetbike! Gator lake was really cool but the road ends there. We'll have to check out your Angola loop next time.

Dan, let me know if you're down for Brown Mt next weekend. The best $5.00 riding area in NC and miles of nearby gravel roads for dualsport. Elevation therapy!

thanks for the invite Sunday Dan. It was great to get back onto some gravel and shape off the cobwebs. Good to see old friends and meet new ones.

Sad News

SarasotaUSMC, George Lorentson GYSGT USMC-ret passed away yesterday.

George is 2nd from the left, standing next to Anders.

He was in on many of our adventures, until his back injuries made it unsafe for him to ride off road anymore.

He was my age, kind of freaks me out. Too young to be dying of heart attack. Got too much riding i want to do yet.

WTF???

Sad, sad news.

I only rode with George a couple of times (and fished with him once), but I really liked the guy. Very cool dude.

This is a shock. I know George had back problems (i'm having the same problems myself and fighting hard to avoid the surgeon), but did he have other health issues? This just an unexpected heart attack?

How am I still alive, and George is gone?

RIP, George.
