We tried, but the rain dampened our spirits. Got a few miles of twisties in and a plate of brisket, so the day wasn't a total wash. hehe The closer I got to the house, the better the weather got. Roads finally dried up and the sky turned blue. Walked in the house and didn't realize I'd left my thermostat on 4.

Edit: Now that I've changed clothes, I think I'll put a rear end in the couch this afternoon.

Blue skies here now, and 2" of water in my boots. I don't think we could have timed that any worse.

the Faith Riders chapter at my church is having their "Ride for Life" event this weekend. It starts at First Baptist Church of Spring Hill. Registration opens at 9:00. I think the ride starts at 10:00. It's a marble run. A lot of fun and all the $$$ goes to a good cause.

Free food and door prizes after the ride.

I hope to see you there!

Do any of you experienced street guys have a good suggestion for a place to ride to eat tomorrow? I haven't been on a joyride in a couple weeks and I'm feeling the need. I was thinking Fall Creek Falls, but I *think* Sunday is the expensive buffet.

If you ride to Fall Creek Falls for lunch, spring for the expensive buffet...lol

If I wasn't heading out on vacation in the next few days I'd join you!

Meo Mio's at Paris Landing is good Cajun food.

Southernaire at McKinnon is good American food, and lots of great roads in the area
