I had a 380 , but always saw more 550's. I had a GT500 twin too.

I had a DT400. I wanted to do something like this.. kind of a retro supermoto. Got a good price for it though. Can't wait to see how this comes together.

Finished the build

late nights this week because we have the big bike show...mostly café bikes here in Milwaukee tomorrow. the show is a street party type event called ROCKERBOX......let's see what happens when a little old 2-stroke gets in the fray.

Handles great

this bike really handles well.....good thing too, because it hits really hard....mx400 style, but with a lighter flywheel, and free flowing exhaust.

lowered light and dials

lowered the head light by reversing the ears and fabing lowering mounting arms for the ignition and dials to give her a clean look over the bars.

lengthened swing arm too

longer swing arm and stiffer forks with fork brace and YSS shocks, wide Flander's flat track bars, and alloy high flange wheels make this bike handle.

back when I was an old work horse on the dairy farm in Wisconsin....I got a new lease on life by these guys.
