950 Dream Machine

About a year ago I finally got a 950A ('06 with 30k miles done). I say finally, as I wanted one since the first time I saw them in '03 when they first appeared. They looked awesome - great for long distance touring and for off-roading (is it possible!) I waited six years until I could afford a second-hand one.
Now a year later I've just returned from a six week, 8000 mile round trip from Ireland to Morocco. What a bike! We bombed down motorways to get there and back, and then hit the Rif and Atlas mountains and went south along the edge of the Sahara. It was seriously hot and the tracks and roads took their toll on us. But each day that bike just got on with it with no fuss and little or no maintenence. Now home and she's having a well earned rest and and...an oil change and new fork seals.
There is no other bike that comes close. Congats to KTM for coming up with a bike that does it all.

Yep they are amazing machines! I still scratch my head every time I ride it off road. How the hell can that big of a bike with that kind of HP feel that confidence inspiring everywhere?!?
