True that. There's got to be a cheaper place.

This place is located right down the road from Markleeville on the Carson
river. I went past it last year, reminded me of the River Adventure
campround we use for WARPED.

The problem is you have these rides in the fall, when all the FS campgrounds are closed. If you had them midsummer there would be all kinds of cheap facilities available.

The answer is to quit hurting yourself. You have enough metal in you to build a skid plate. Get yourself a motorhome, we will report back what a wonderful time we had.

LMFAO. Garry, consider this; every time I have a 'memorable' motorbike event I'll remember you were always there with me.

The Carson River resort campground on the river is unimproved, with no facilities at all.

There are several locations upstream that are public and free.

Almost all of the USFS camps will be closed by 10/15. There is a BLM campground on Indian creek reservoir that has showers, but I expect they will be closing in mid October too.

Wolf creek campground further upstream has bathrooms, but no way to lock the public out. I don't know how they close it, except locking the door to the shitter.
