Alternative to Motorcycle specific GPS

Just wondering on opinions as to a alternative GPS for my motorcycle. I understand it will most likely not be waterproof, which I can cope with. Want something new and quick with large detailed screen. Something that has a cradle that can be modified to fit a ram mount.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Tom

Anything Garmin. Pick the one you like. Mounts are made for all of them.

Garmin Montana would be my suggestion. Nice big screen, AND waterproof =)

Not sure about your location but in Europe there are at least two alternatives: GoRider & Interphone. Bouth made for motorcycles. GoRider is iGO based and Interphone uses NDrive. Also there are at least 2 different Chinese ones available, also iGO (or anything for Win ce).

I oersonally own GoRider and I'm pretty content with it. It comes full map set and proper RAM fixtures. Just install to bike and go.

Car Nuvi with lifetime map updates work well for the price.
Download Basecamp to work them from the computer
but make sure they can accept routes, as some can not.
Most all will not accept tracks however if that's a need.
