Oh go get an 1190 if you must. Save SOME of the SEs for us mortals to dream of getting someday! :

Yes you need a third:

Maybe have to confess that 2 of the bikes are my fathers (one of the LC8s).

When you go for a ride just to look for new dirt roads to bomb.
When all you hear is 'who makes that' when KTM is right there in plain sight for all to see.
When your friends go out and buy one after they say you're an idiot for getting one.
When you do your first valve adjustment and think adjusting the valves is the easy part.
You gladly pay someone's ransom for a piece of tubing just to drain half your oil.
UPS shows up at your house weekly.
When you're told that thing won't go down a trail and you gladly get your GoPro out just to make a point.

You know when...

You swap bike like Japanese grade schoolers swap Pokeman cards but the 950 stays in the deck.

You know you're a 950 owner when......

You seems to always ride the 950 and the other bikes in the stable gather dust.

You know you are when

1. Gas stations personnel keep asking: "Does it have two tanks?"

2. You fill your tanks like there won´t be another gas station until the apocalypsis come.

3. You fill your tanks and, despite she drank the gas, you smile and pay.

4. You always regret for not taking the unpaved road and you get stuck in traffic because some road repairs.

5. You start to get friends with the gas station staff you always go.

6. You don´t know which road to take, if you have options...

7. You even have an absorbent cloth, obviously orange, in the glovebox

Will never happen,

a 950 owner considers road repairs as his/her private speed lane.

When you fill up your SE with 8.5 gallons of gas on the Safari tank on the front, and the 2.5 gallon ADV tank in the rear, 10 liters of water for yourself, and realize you can now travel about 400 miles which is good because of where you are headed...
