Sorry to hear that, Erin - it SUCKS. Here are the pics, and I'll post in other places as well.
Also - here's the craiglist URL: http://janesville.craigslist.org/mcy/3958033295.html

Thinking about making the trip for this.. this ride much more suitable for a XR250R compared to say a DR650? I have both bikes and light experience with off-road riding.

Although the ride could be done on either, my opinion is that the XR would be far, far more fun.

Has to be legal, though (plated, etc).

Thanks Madwrench! All help is appreciated. I need to figure out how to work this website. It's hard to find good people and we could always make friends at the dual sport rides. Hopefully things work out for us and we can make it to an event this fall.

You can count on two more Iowans to be there!
Gravity told me about this ride last night and it sounds like a blast.
I have done the Ride for Research in Wabeno a few times with my buddy Kenny but haven't been able to make it the last couple of years because of scheduling conflicts. I told him about this one last night and he's up for it. Also it’s only a 4hr drive for us, that’s about half of what it took to get to Wabeno.
We both ride KLR650s and I know that they are not ideal for that type of terrain but we're always up for a challenge!
Time to order some tires, clean the trailer and stock the cooler!

Hey Joe! Glad you can make it! So, I guess you figured it out without me emailing you the details like I said I would.

If you're taking your big trailer, and have the room, I may throw my KTM in there too. I gotta get the family to WI before the event and was going to pull my bike that far. But, if you've only got two bike in your trailer, you should be able to fit another, right?

Not a Problem Nick. Wasn't hard to find.

We should have plenty of room in the trailer for your bike.

The bumpy part sounds kind of dirty, so I'll definitely do that.

You're on your own for your anniversary dinner reservations, but just to set the bar for ya: The Yellow Haired Misery and I are flying down to the Big Easy for a creole dinner for our anniversary later this month.
