Wicked Waiting for my Pampera

After far too many years without a bike, unless you count a Suzuki GP100 bucket racing motor and a non-running GP125 parts bike sitting in the garage doing nothing, or four years delivering mail for DX on a CT110 (probably 120,000km around the streets of Hornby, Templeton and Sockburn in all weathers), I've bought a Gas Gas Pampera 450. But I'm down here and it's up in the Waikato. Waiting for Motorcycle Movers to get it down here. Itchy, itchy itchy!!!!

That will have a bit more go than your CT. Road reg'd or trailer trash?

[QUOTE=kiwipeet;21993545]Wow.. looks like an awesome deal. :)

Yes I know. I keep having to pinch myself when I look at the picture of the odometer!!! LOL. It went right through one listing on trademe with $4,000 no reserve and $4,500 buy now, that still looked cheap to me. I guess a lot of people don't know what it is and those that know GasGas want the full-on enduro. I considered a KLX250 or a DR650. I reckon I've got the power of the 650 in the weight of the 250! The other good thing is that Dirt Action Services here in Chch are absolute GasGas nuts.

Laugh Not waiting any more

Well the Gas Gas is now here. I must say it feels more lively than the DR650 I test rode and as light as the KLX250 I tried as well. It's not quite street-legal yet so haven't gone far, but I think it's going to fun. Sounds pretty throaty too for a standard pipe. Shifting house next week so it won't get it's legs stretched for a few weeks.
