What's wrong with that? We have you standing guard for the underproducing midget.

I've been on the track with that kid, he went plain out plaid on an advanced trackday group...you think you may be rolling till someone smokes past you going 10 seconds a lap faster on a 2.6mile long track. Of course we were timing him on a more or less stock 600 going 1:24 on Thunderbolt......in AMA super stock, I think he was 16 or 17 at the time.

So far he's been a solid top ten rider in BSB.

Good question. Thing is, they have changed A LOT of the personnel already, and they are changing even more now. Biggest changes are organizational, getting people to work in a totally different way. What they should have done is fired everyone and started over, but they would lose way too much knowledge that way. It's going to take another 2-3 years to get it completely turned around, but things are different now, because the senior management is different.

Go to Le Mans for the 24 hour race. Just don't go for MotoGP...

I sometimes wonder if riders ever take a walk trackside to observe their rivals. Because it's bleedin' obvious who is relying on electronics, and who is fast.

After the MotoGP race at Laguna Seca I found myself inside of T1, overlooking T3, for the AMA Superbike race. Depressing. Only Josh Hayes was riding the motorcycle; all the other "front runners" were deep into the TC, and visibly slower.

The most recent things I read from Dovi, he said two things:

1. While there is some development, it is not coming as anywhere near as fast as he expected, and very little progress has been made.

2. First, we have to fix Ducati, only then can we fix the bike.

Strong words.

Okay, let's see how this works.

In 100 seconds, my moped travels one mile: its speed is 36 miles per hour.

In 1 second, your intercontinental missile travels one mile: its speed is 3600 miles per hour.

So, the ICBM is 99 per cent faster than the moped. Right?

It's okay, we know you were just winding us up.

The arithmetic has been canvassed thoroughly in comments on Kropotkin's story, here.

And as usual, he had it right all along.

This is a very long break between races, obviously.

Uh, NO.

2 mph is 100% faster than 1 mph. If something happens twice as fast as something else, it is 100% faster.

Motomatters/ David E. is THE expert. No matter what you "marans" say.

Hey! In one of my Stoner rants back last year or so Krop came off the bench and said Stoner fan!! I'm not going to go that far back and find it though, but it happened damnit. Also who cares. Just because your press/writer/blogger doesn't mean you can't be a fan of someone, it obviously doesn't cloud his writing.

I'm one of the biggest anti-Stoner fans there is. But even I can see that the bro can ride a bike and knows what he's about. He's just a huge shithead.

Ducati sucks balls. Throw some money at the program and make some changes already. Yeesh. How many podium getters and world champions running mid pack on their bikes are they going to have to go through before they realize that drastic change and quick change is needed. Ung.
