If you could only get them here
The Aussies absolutely love em, especially the E07.
Read reports in OZ subsection of ADV that on many dual-sport rides almost everyone has an E07 on the rear.

I LOVE my E07's This is my second set on the f800. I got about 11000k on my first set. About 9000k was fully loaded and 8000 of that was pavement.

Do you notice anything different with the yellow stripe one (dakar version?)

Hey Kelsow!

Looks familiar!

I've only just started running it and I only have 1000km so far.

I'm running it with the E-10 up front. What do you have up front?

I was looking for something a little better than the TKC up front (stiffer casing, better gravel/dirt grip) without trading the pavement grip and life. Time will tell but so far so good. Not much dirt that isn't iced/snow yet....soon though.

Dave

I'm using an E07 up front as well.
I have used a set of the E10 rear and E09 front and they were awesome. I managed to get a bit over 5000k with 2500 of that being pavement on a fully loaded bike.

I ran an E-09 rear with a Scorpion Rally front last summer and it was a good combo too. The E-09 drives and brakes well but I find it steps out easily in corners (not a huge surprise with the "bar" tread) with all the power on tap. I was wondering whether an E-10 in the back would have a bit more cornering bite as it has more side lugs...

Thanks!

Dave

Hi Dave,

I tried a Scorpion rally last spring and definitely didn't like the way if felt on dirt roads. I found it kinda darted from side to side, and didn't give me much confidence. It could be due to the sucky stock front boingers. It did wear well though. I went back to the Pirelli MT-21 up front.

I do like the E-09 Dakar out back.

Well after 7500 Miles I have to say I am quite pleased with the Mitas E07 on the rear of my F800GS. It worked super everywhere I took it. No flats despite pulling one nail and one staple out of the tread. This was with a 50/50 mix of tarmac and Ozarks gravel/dirt roads.

I'd still be interested in becoming a distributor for these.
