All my appointments are cancelled for the 17th. I didn't actually think they'd buy 'pie tasting' as a valid excuse, but it looks like they did.
It better not rain.

EDIT: Forgot to say hi and hope you can make your maiden voyage to Rella's. See you there!

38* 37' 24.98" N
80* 23' 19.84" W

Untitled Placemark is Rella's

*** Disregard the GPS displays at the bottom of the photos - the locator follows the mouse cursor and when you go to the top of the page to click "save" it follows you. The actual GPS location listed at the beginning of this post is according to Google Earth and placing the cursor on Rella's roof (she probably took a shot at it ).

If the date's ratio holds, looks like the Sept. 7 bunch will pretty much have the contents of the pie fridge to ourselves.

Eddy, I'll be going over there for a day trip on Sept. 7; bike undecided.

If the KLR, we can run some gravel through the Kumbrabow State forest, to Pickens, then on the Hacker Valley Road out to Rte. 20.

If the Connie, I'll stay on pavement from Mill Creek, through Helvetia, Alexander, Czar, and on out to Rte. 20.

It'll be a long day, so an early start will be in order (6:00-ish). Lemme know if interested.

Wow, 11 hours and 520 miles in one day, that must be a hell of a good pie!

LOL!

Done it before several times. The pie and vittles are excellent, but the company you'll meet with Rella and (hopefully) Jeaneace far exceed the material things. They're like family to me.

Waiting to hear back from a friend in Helvetia. If he's around, may make a stop just to say hello. I met some awesome folks over there during my long w/e at the Bliss festival a number of weeks ago. Would be nice to see some of them again. It'll be a nice break.
